Business & marketing strategist
Since founding SB&C in 2021, I’ve dedicated my consulting practice to delivering expert strategy counsel. My work focuses on crafting innovative business and marketing strategies, impactful positioning and brand platforms, and thought leadership initiatives. I also coach leadership teams in navigating their next steps towards business transformation.
During my 13-year tenure at Microsoft, I developed and led a broad portfolio of global executive engagement programs and enterprise branding initiatives, including Microsoft’s global CEO Summit.
Earlier I headed up marketing at Visio and The Learning Company launching the companies, the original product lines, and brands.
I’ve been a partner at several management consulting firms including Regis McKenna Inc. Clients have included Apple, KPMG and their national practices, August Capital and their technology portfolio companies, Intel, The Learning Company, Stanford University, and Positively For Kids.
I’ve served as a board director at StolenYouth (now Everstrong), WTIA (then the Washington Software Association), Stanford Alumni Association, Stanford Club of Western Washington, NW Leukemia and Lymphoma Association, and Seattle Children's Home.
I received a B.A. in English from Stanford University, with an emphasis in communications theory.
